Shawn Ayers
Co-Founder / Instructor
Motorcoach Safety Group was co- founded by Shawn, a professional driver with over 17 years of experience. During this time, Shawn has had the privilege of not only driving professionally but also training new drivers and running operations for privately owned companies. He understands the importance of safe, efficient and effective driving.
In Shawn's spare time he enjoys collecting model Motorcoaches and traveling with his family.
William Denson
Co-Founder / Instructor
William brings over 30 years of experience to the table. With a resume that includes working as a trainer for J.J. Keller he has also worked as a Professional Motorcoach Operator and Trainer for such esteemed companies such as Trailways, Greyhound and Coach USA, William brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
Tony Armstead
Maintenance Instructor
Tony, an industry veteran with over 35 years of experience as a Professional Motorcoach Operator and a maintenance director. Tony has worked with major companies like Greyhound Lines and Haymarket Transportation, giving him a deep understanding of the profession. In Tony's spare time he enjoys spending time with his daughter, who also is an avid Motorcoach fan.
Sandra Ayers
Co-Founder and General Manager
Sandra, whose extensive experience in customer service and logistics allows us to provide top-notch service to all our clients. From scheduling to helping develop training materials, Sandra ensures that all our clients’ needs are met. In Sandra's spare time she enjoys family trips to such parks as Universal and Disney.
Esau Gathers
Instructor
Meet Esau, who has been in the industry for over 35 years. Esau was previously a professional motorcoach operator and was the lead trainer for Greyhound. Retirement hasn't stopped his passion for training and course development. Let us help you drive with confidence and safety!
Bob Etzel
Entertainer Instructor
Bob has been involved in the Motorcoach and Entertainer industry for over 20 years. Bob has assisted in developing a training course designed to educate drivers in the art of "Lullaby Coach Operations" and certifying drivers as "Lullaby Specialist", upon completion of the course. Bob has also been instrumental in the development of our Entertainer driver courses as well as being in charge of our video productions. In Bob's spare time he is a Gospel Singer, as well as involved in the technology field creating websites, graphic design and more.
David Pitzer
Co-Founder / Instructor
Co-Founder Dave Pitzer’s experience as a professional driver and Dispatch Supervisor at Pittsburgh Regional Transit lends credibility to our mission to provide driver training and consulting services that surpass industry standards. In Dave's spare time he enjoys traveling the World and trying new things.
Petula Schoonover
Instructor
With over 26 years of commercial driving experience, Petula brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her emphasis on driver safety and responsible driving has helped numerous companies and individuals to succeed in achieving their goals. Petula has worked for such companies as Napaway and Abbot Trailways. In Petula's spare time she enjoys traveling and photography.
Juli Sprouse
Instructor
Juli has been in the Transit, School Bus and Motorcoach Industry for over 15 years and has worked for such companies as Laidlaw, Augusta County Schools and for the city of Harrisonburg VA. Currently she works as a Professional Motorcoach Operator at Quicks.
